Founded in 1946, Southern Granite Company, Inc. remains in its third generation of family ownership. Currently there are four family members active in the business. They are positioned in the company from management down to quality control.
Southern Granite Company, Inc. was established to mainly fabricate memorials, but in 1980 the movement toward specialty work was brought around by technological advancements in computer-controlled machines and industrial diamonds. From 1980 until the present, we have upgraded our machinery and have prepared our craftsmen to execute the most difficult projects.
Today Southern Granite Company, Inc. is housed in a 40,000 square foot building with all of the latest equipment. Adequate storage area also allows our company to keep granite blocks on site in a variety of colors, which cuts production time and provides our customers with the finest service.
